The photograph depicts the sorghum with weeds and grass. This is the first time I did not use a herbicide/ pre emergent prior to broadcasting the seeds. It’s also the first season something actually grew in the impoundment so we are happy. I did plant very very late in the season also.

I have four sets of wild Peacocks, Peahens and babies. This is one set. I bought the fine, the adults usually eat the whole Sunflower hearts and have for the last 10 years. I thought I would try the fine for the babies, I still have the whole seed hearts from another order and the babies eat them just as well. The Elk Mountain Seed company is very fast on completing orders! Their price is very competitive on the lower cost side! Thank You Elk Mountain for supplying great Products!
Fantastic product, planted last week of July in Northern WI. 19-19-19 spread at planting and 46-0-0 about 3-4 weeks after planting. Very pleased with the germination.
We’ve had trouble with sweet corn growing in our area and this stuff has been growing pretty good. Still waiting to taste it. Planted it a little bit late. Almost every seed we planted sprouted. Definitely recommend it.
I had low expectations because my planter was broke and rain was coming so I had to broadcast your seed and run over it with a lite drag. The rain came and now on August 27th, it's 9ft tall with double ears and I couldn't be happier.

We think they did great. It was extremely wet when we planted them then it dried out and they but they still come up really nice..
I planted Elk Mound Round Up Ready Corn on May 1st, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how it turned out. After planting, I did two post-emergence sprays and spread some AMS to help it along. I kept the plot fenced off through July because of the heavy deer pressure in the area. We had a few nights where temperatures dropped and the corn got slightly stunted, but it bounced right back and continued growing like nothing happened. This stuff is absolutely amazing. The corn is now well over 8 feet tall, and the stalks are still standing strong. Most of the stalks have two ears, with quite a few producing three ears. For the amount of abuse this plot has taken from the weather and deer pressure, I’m extremely impressed with the results. I will definitely be planting Elk Mound Round Up Ready Corn again next year! Highly recommend giving it a shot if you’re looking for a great food plot corn.

Very short hybrid at about 4-5’ but so far appears to be yielding multiple ears per stalk.
This stuff ( clover blend ) is Extremely drought tolerant we had an extremely dry late spring and early summer . Until the skies opened up and dropped 8” on us in 48 hours . The deer are in it 24/7 . Can’t wait to drop the tender vitals and the fall fury and see how that works. Extremely happy and thanks again Chad you guys are the best!

Planted on 6/1/2026. 90 percent germination and it looks like it’s going to mature in a couple of weeks. I’m very pleased with the red Milo.
Decided to plant some and it came up strong. Too close together but we will see if the birds get anything out of it.

Easy order and quick shipping. Every seed planted germinated but I lost a couple due to soil erosion but very happy with everything. My daughter wanted to plant some honey badger corn so i delayed my planting so they wouldnt cross polinate or it would be taller. Will order some more next year.

So far so good. It is dry here but I haul water and use gravity and hose. Cobs are beginning to form.

2026 is my best crop ever. i Limited my crow damage by finally investing in a planter which consistently put the seed at the proper depth. Timely rain and a quality seed makes such a difference!

Elk Mound Seed is a great place to purchase quality sweet corn seed. I’ve never had a problem with ordering, shipping, or delivery. The four rows to the right in the photos are recently purchased Revision seed. Germination for the Revision was practically 100 percent. We picked the first batch on Sunday, July 5th. It was incredibly sweet. Our friends and family loved it. I only plant GM corn seed. It’s the future, so get used to it. No pests and little maintenance.

All of my birds love Elk Mound Seed roasted peanut pickouts. This pic shows a red-bellied woodpecker and a robin side by side enjoying peanuts. That's actually all those two species will eat at my feeder. They have no interest in the other seeds.
I planted five rows earlier in the season and five rows a little bit later Works out so that I can have corn for a little bit longer
Germination was a very high percentage and has been very easy to maintain. We are currently in a drought with high heat. This weather is taking a toll on the plants during production time. Only time will tell how well it handles this weather and finishes out.
