I planted Elk Mound Round Up Ready Corn on May 1st, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how it turned out. After planting, I did two post-emergence sprays and spread some AMS to help it along. I kept the plot fenced off through July because of the heavy deer pressure in the area. We had a few nights where temperatures dropped and the corn got slightly stunted, but it bounced right back and continued growing like nothing happened. This stuff is absolutely amazing. The corn is now well over 8 feet tall, and the stalks are still standing strong. Most of the stalks have two ears, with quite a few producing three ears. For the amount of abuse this plot has taken from the weather and deer pressure, I’m extremely impressed with the results. I will definitely be planting Elk Mound Round Up Ready Corn again next year! Highly recommend giving it a shot if you’re looking for a great food plot corn.

2026 is my best crop ever. i Limited my crow damage by finally investing in a planter which consistently put the seed at the proper depth. Timely rain and a quality seed makes such a difference!

This short season corn SAVED THE YEAR! My initial planting failed and I did not get back to the property until late June. We planted the week before 4th of July and were already in a draught. After a couple of timely sprinkles the next time I saw the plot it was over 8' tall and many of the stalks had double ears. AMAZING!
First time planting Corn for deer with my G5 no till drill and had excellent results on 4 acres
Corn was planted first week of June, August 7 now. Just starting to make ears, looking good. Not much deer pressure with 3D electric fence. Another month to really rate. More than happy so far.
Great seeds germinate quickly used round up and a liquid fertilizer in the mix and this corn took off over 6 feet tall now and still going strong can’t wait to see how many deer I can pull in
