I bought this to just try to plant it in the middle of the woods. I didn't use lime or fertilizer so I wasn't expecting much for results. Within a week it was already starting to come up and three weeks later, it's coming in thick and green. I'm very impressed.

Stopped raining here in Iowa in early August, planted it in mid September into pure dust, got some nice rain at the end of October at it is taking off.

heavy rain was coming! already had plot tilled ran back and spread the seed and rake it in. storm went south of us 2 1/2". not a drop here . 8 days no rain hope it will come up when we do get rain. Seed looked great

Needed to add some Rye Grain to winter food plots that had been hit hard from wild hogs. Elk Mound was one of the few sources in late December with product. Quick shipping during the holidays, too! Food plots are now thick with tender Rye for late season deer hunts.
