Problem wasn't with the seeds was with the ground and the person planting. On clay and did not understand how to prepare ground or cover.

I planted some on a timber cut landing go a little rain first night and it came up but then for a month not a drop this is sandy soil when it finally did rain it came up pretty well considering temps were average highs of 50 lows around 35 can't wait to plant the rest next spring see it grow

Planted it in mid August and it grew well with little rain. It's still green as can be in mid November.
Well can't keep the deer out came up extremely well can't send photos because they eat it as fast as it grows. Sincerely Byron
I mixed it with the japanese millet and both came up very good . The millet started heading out but then had a frost and frozen out . Should have put it in a couple weeks earlier but good yield. Really satisfied.
