Phacelia (Phacelia Tanacetifolia)
Lacy Phacelia is a fast-growing annual cover crop known for its excellent soil benefits and strong pollinator appeal. Its fine, lacy foliage and violet blooms form dense stands that suppress weeds, prevent erosion, and improve soil tilth. Highly attractive to honeybees and native pollinators, it’s often planted between crop rotations or along field edges to boost beneficial insect activity. This hardy species thrives in poor, dry soils with full sun and minimal maintenance. Gloves are recommended when handling seed or plants, as some individuals may experience mild skin irritation.
