The young male Cardinal born this Spring is adorable, and will land on the window ledge if I need to refill the feeders (just like the doves and a few of the smaller species). The Cardinal Blend is a favorite of the Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Cowbirds, Sparrows, Finches, Chickadees, Crows, and SQUIRRELS. LOL. The Blue Jays like peanuts so they prefer the Songbird Blend. I have two 3.2 pound bird feeders and two trays for the larger birds (one I fill with water). Within 13 hours, the birds eat at least 7 pounds of birdseed. I'm waiting for Bidenomics to end, so I may afford to buy more than just the 55 pounds I'm currently buying each month. Needless to say, all my feathered friends LOVE Elk Mound Seed, as do all the squirrels on my street!
